Senix Robotics Awarded U.S. Army SBIR Contract for Battlefield Intelligence AI

Senix Robotics has been awarded a Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) contract by the U.S. Army to develop and advance AI-powered battlefield intelligence capabilities.

The SBIR program, administered by the Small Business Administration and funded by the Department of Defense, supports small businesses in conducting research and development with commercial and military potential. Awards are made through a competitive evaluation process based on technical merit, innovation, and potential for impact.

Under this contract, Senix Robotics is developing technology that automates key elements of the intelligence analysis workflow, reducing the time required to transform raw sensor data into structured, decision-ready assessments.

“This contract represents direct validation from the U.S. Army that our approach to battlefield intelligence works,” said Ali Asmari, President of Senix Robotics. “We’re building AI that thinks about the battlefield the way trained analysts do, but at machine speed.”

The SBIR award builds on Senix Robotics’ earlier recognition through the U.S. Army xTech AI competition and represents continued momentum in the company’s engagement with the Department of Defense.
